The Australian Monster Truck Racing Association (AMTRA) in conjunction with Extreme Monster Trucks Australia (EMTA) is proud to announce that USHRA Monster Jam representatives will be in attendance at the 2009 South Pacific Monster Truck World Finals.
Accepting the invitation, made by AMTRA President Clive Featherby, will be USHRA President Charlie Mancuso and Senior Director’s of Operations Bill Easterly and Mike Wales. All three representatives intend on using this opportunity to scrutinise many aspects of both the AMTRA and EMTA, including areas such as vehicle, track and personnel safety, along with the overall show quality and production standards.
In a series of statements submitted yesterday, Mr. Featherby firmly expressed his commitment to further developing high quality and professional monster truck family shows. In only its second year, the South Pacific World Finals has established itself as a major summit, bringing together international industry representatives, mutually committed to the advancement of the monster truck industry both within and beyond the Asia-Pacific region.
Furthermore, Mr. Featherby, on behalf of all AMTRA and EMTRA members, expressed his deepest gratitude towards everyone, both locally and internationally, who have taken interest and openly showed support for the advancement of the monster truck industry within Australia.

Tickets will be on sale BEFORE CHRISTMAS and towns will include Auckland, Hamilton, Tauronga, New Plymouth, Napier and Wellington.
Four trucks will invade the land of the long white cloud including Scooby Doo, Taz, Batman and Raptors Rampage, along with USA driver Corey Clark, who is already a confirmed starter for the whirlwind tour.
Freestyle FMX and Jet vans are just part of the awesome show ready to measure highly on the shaky isles richter scale.

After almost 12 months of planning the literally the BIGGEST night of motoring competition explodes into Brisbane’s Archerfield Speedway This Saturday night when Ten of the World greatest Racing monster trucks line up for the South Pacific Monster Truck World Finals and heading the Aussie charge will be none other than the one Sunshine coast family Clive Billy and Jaye Featherby along with Mascot Pat All based at Glenview Clive is the current Australian Monster truck Champion and drives the Monster truck Outback Thunda.
17 year old Billy Featherby a Nambour high school student is the driver of Scooby Doo and 15 year old brother Jaye also a Nambour high school student drives the Taz monster truck along with 6 year old Pat who rides the Outback Thunda junior quad out every time Thunda makes an appearance.
They will all be in action this Saturday against seven of the United States elite monster truck drivers in the officially sanctioned South Pacific Monster truck World Finals 2 that will see three brand new trucks released on the one night including a brand new 57 chevy Bodied style Avenger truck,a giant dinosaur Raptors Revenge truck and what is now officially the worlds most expensive truck SAMSON built in Circleville Ohio and only released into Australia two weeks ago this truck has the absolute extreme of everything and can reach speeds in excess of 130 km per hour.
Drivers such as former world champion Jim Koehler Avenger, Kreg Christenson Maximum Destruction Dan Patrick Samson and Paul Shafer Monster patrol are household names in the states and all long time legends and former champions who will be out to take the crown on Saturday night.
The Archerfield Speedway complex has been transformed from a speedway to a insane obstacle course for the World Finals with Buses over 30 cars caravans boats vans motorhomes even a giant replica of Ularu for the freestyle section of the event that 15 year old Jaye who is also officially the world youngest monster truck driver is very confident of success in, Jaye was victorious in a lead up show a few weeks ago at Stockland Park and says the difference at World finals time is the size of the huge jumps the high speeds racing at over a hundred kilometres per hour in a monster truck is just awesome and up against all the top yanks its just the best.
Billy is confident a strong showing in freestyle the second half of the programme where each truck gets two minutes each to perform as many jumps as possible hit all the obstacles and basically go wild and hopes he can better dad Clive who manages second overall when the event was held indoors on its initial year last year.

The biggest, meanest, noisiest and most expensive 4WD Monster Truck in the world is in town. The Samson Monster Truck will be one of the headline acts at the South Pacific Monster Truck World Finals II at Brisbane International Speedway, Archerfield on November 14.
Owner and monster truck promoter Clive Featherby of the Sunshine Coast said the American-made truck cost him $350,000, which was about $50,000 more than the world's previously most expensive monster truck.
U.S. driver Kreg Christensen was behind the wheel of the brand new Samson Monster Truck for a media presentation in the lead up to the World Finals. Right off the bat, Christensen gave the truck a solid workout for the television cameras, catching some big air over the crush cars and pulling off some nice donuts.
As expected, the truck didn't miss a single beat thanks to the expert design and development by the Patrick Enterpises construction team .
