this is a rep of a 1979 dodge "lil red express truck".
"During the late 1970's, Muscle cars were practicaly dead and the performance of the few remaining muscle cars was less than desirable. To help bring back performance to the industry dodge had this awsome idea. Dodge found a loophole in the system, trucks that fell into the 6100 pound weight category were exempt from most emmisions! So Dodge saw this as an opportunity and built this truck. It was put into production for 2 years 1978 and 1979. It was a production truck, its not a customized or 'tricked' truck every thing on it was purely from the factory... It was strong it was faster any other production vehicle of the time period it was even faster than the Corvette and some exotic vehicles...
This was truely the last american made factory ready HOTROD!!!" quote from http://www.digitalimpactinc.com/mopar/express.html
